How We Graded:
Eight students from GLMR, Pride, and QPOC graded each response blindly on a scale of 1-10. We omitted any names to ensure there was no bias when grading the responses. Then, each candidate received an average score for each question based on the 8 graders’ scores. Their overall score was then calculated based on these scores. Some questions were weighted more heavily than others due to the significance of the questions. For example, our last question regarding policy plans was weighted twice as much given its significance.
